Tess Aronson

NATIONAL

Tess is an incoming junior at Barnard College, majoring in educational studies and human rights on an educational policy track. She began working with Sprout Up during the fall of 2020 and is continuing through the summer of 2021. In her free time, Tess loves to cook, go on walks and hikes, and do any kind of art to relax. She is extremely passionate about environmental education and justice because of how it affects everyone in different ways!

Jillian Yick

I am a third year student majoring in Human Development, Psychology and minoring in Education. Last year, I was a Sprout Up instructor in a first grade classroom and absolutely loved it! In my free time, I enjoy baking, staying active, and staying connected with my friends and family.

Jacqueline Moy

NEW YORK CITY

I am currently a sophomore at New York University studying Public Policy and Environmental Studies. I am passionate about environmental policy and teaching future generations about climate change and how to combat it. In my free time I like to play soccer, cook, and read!

Hi! My name is Destiny, and I am a second year student at UC Davis. Right now I am majoring in psychology and political science with a minor in education. I love kittens and the ocean!

Caitlyn is a second-year at Cal Poly SLO. She in majoring in liberal studies in the hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher! In her free time she likes to read, paint, and take trips to the beach.

Bobby, having recently entered into his penultimate year of high school, has been studying graphic design and environmental protection for several years. Currently, he works as a tutor, teaching non-English-speakers to speak English whilst volunteering at various animal shelters, making promotional and informational material.

My name is Fiona Flanagan and I am the co director of the Columbia University chapter of Sprout Up with Ellie Yousif. I am a double major in English and film at Barnard College with a minor in environmental science. I love Sprout Up so much because I think environmental justice is one of the most important things we should teach our youth!

Hi! I'm Nicole, a 4th year chemistry major at Cal Poly SLO. I'll be contributing to creating the non-profit and SLO-specific chapter content through video editing and motion graphics. Off the computer, you can find me in a polymer science lab, cruising on my longboard or exploring the beautiful SLO landscape with a camera in-hand!
